Six Flags Great America literally launched the fastest coaster of its time. And the ever popular Marcus Lashock from WGN Chicago came out to conquer it's first launch.
Imagine this: 5:10 AM CST, the first light of dawn just beginning to kiss the horizon, and Marcus Leshock was ready to be the first rider launched on the all-new Maxx Force. It was our first shot of the day, and every crew member was on standby, radioing in with confirmation. This moment would mark the debut of our new product, *Live in the Sky* — and we were about to show the world what it could do.
Marcus launched into the sky, and as Victor took off, our Director of Photography, Jeff, gave the call: "Go!" With that, Victor slammed the throttle, sending our drone into a high-speed chase, racing down the track to follow Marcus. The ride came to a smooth halt, and as the dust settled, Marcus took a moment to absorb the experience. So did the rest of the crew, and the client. We stood there, in awe, as we realized what we had just captured — a shot that would go down in history, one that we’d never forget.
