We crafted a campaign that seamlessly blended the unique thrill of the single-seat coaster with the idea of soaring together. Creative Director Eric Lamb and Director Branden Morris co-wrote a script that wove together the voices of four women, creating a harmonious chorus that soared high in the clouds. Once the script was in place, Branden and Director of Photography, Jeff Nolde, prepped for the shoot with a bold "What If?" — What if the camera could move while the coaster was experiencing intense G-forces and topping speeds of 60 mph? Jeff embraced the challenge and teamed up with a skilled crew to make it happen. The result was a specially designed camera rig mounted on a controlled slider that could withstand the extreme speed and G-forces.

Why go to such lengths? It was all about the composition: starting with a single, tight shot to convey the feeling of riding alone, and then sliding out at just the right moment to reveal the thrill of soaring together. Our producer, Heather Duncan, coordinated the crew and cast, creating a "Wonder Woman-sized sandbox" where we could dive in and get to work. After capturing the slider on-ride footage, we took to the skies with our heavy-lift drone pilot, Victor Lee. The drone's low-angle shots gave us sweeping views of the towering drop and inversions, while filming the actors at 200 frames per second allowed us to capture the sensation of the ride in stunning detail.

With footage in hand, it was time to bring the story to life in the edit bay with editor and colorist Daniel Leary. We wanted a gritty, bold aesthetic to match the fearless energy of Wonder Woman. The task of creating original music for the campaign fell to composer Justin Durban, whose score elevated the footage into something truly cinematic. Finally, sound designer and re-recording mixer Wes Poland perfected the soundscape, ensuring every note and detail added to the immersive experience.

The 30- and 15-second commercials ran across the LA market for over a month, dominating both screens and airwaves. From concept to final delivery, our team truly soared, bringing the magic of Six Flags Magic Mountain's "Wonder Woman: Flight of Courage" to life.
